Pharmacist's Bio

George Ruth, RPh

Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science, 1973

George has specialized in retail pharmacy his entire career, joining Newhard Pharmacy after many years at Del Prete's Pharmacy. George is a lead compounding pharmacist and works in both our retail and Long Term Care divisions. He is certified in Aseptic techniques as well as being licensed to administrate immunizations.

George and his wife Lucille have 3 children, Jonathan, Deanna and Holly as well as 6 grandchildren. He is an active member of Christ Reformed Church Indian Creek serving as a Deacon for 6 years. He is a former Fire Chief at Souderton Volunteer Fire Department as well as a life member. George served both the Cub and Boy Scouts for many years as well as being a member of the Big Red Band Boosters of Souderton Area High School.
