Jack purchased Newhard Pharmacy from Aaron Newhard in Feb, 1969 with partner Peter Stahl. He has been involved in the Lehigh Valley Pharmacy Association, Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association and Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce during his tenure in Northampton.

Jack and his wife Charlotte are the parents of Michele, John and Michael as well as the proud grandparents of seven. Jack is an avid golfer and member of the Northampton Stock Club. Charlotte is the gift buyer as well as a champion golfer.
