In 1994 Newhard Pharmacy established their Long Term Care Pharmacy which specializes in custom packaged medications for assisted living facilities.
Our team of Long Term Care pharmacy technicians, pharmacists and drivers are second to none! Our large dedicated team understands the unique needs of families with loved ones in assisted living or personal care facilities. We take all the worry out of the medications. Our team interacts with your physicians, manages drug interactions for you, ensures your prescriptions are always up to date and the medicines required are in the residents hands as needed. Additionally, we specially package medications to assist the staff of your facility. You can rest assured that the prescribed medications have been taken by the patient as directed.

Making the move to an assisted living or personal care home is a difficult decision for many families. Moving is always difficult and there are many worries and concerns. Newhard Pharmacy can take the worry about medications away. We offer an array of services that include blister packaging, pharmaceutical counseling, liaison with physicians’ offices, door to door delivery, and emergency pharmacist support 24 hours per day.
Personal Shopping Services
For all Long Term Care customers, Newhard Pharmacy offers a personal shopping service. This service enables customers to shop from the pleasure of their own home. All Long Term Care customers can order gifts to be delivered with their medications and billed directly to their account taking all the hassle and worry out of shopping!
Not only will we make it easy to purchase your gifts, we also offer full gift wrapping services. All gifts over $25 are wrapped free of charge, all others will be wrapped for a nominal fee. Just call our friendly staff and they will be happy to help you place your order!
